Program History
Grounded in our history as a Land Grant University, the Texas A&M College of Medicine’s goal is to bring health care where it is needed most with a keen focus on rural populations and innovative care delivery.
To support this effort, the Rural Medicine Program was founded in 2021. The program provides clinical training, community engagement, and education to inspire a sustainable future for rural medicine in Texas.
