Undergraduate Research Opportunities

The School of Medicine provides guided research opportunities for undergraduate students. These opportunities include “independent study” research projects that can last one or several semesters, paid research assistantships, and the full-time, 10-week Summer Research Program. Interested undergraduate students can find research opportunities by contacting faculty within their research area of interest.

The Summer Research Program provides an intensive training opportunity which prepares students from any US institution for the pursuit of a future career in biomedical research.
