The Texas A&M University School of Medicine is a community-based institution offering clinical training across Texas at various regional clinical campuses. These opportunities are made possible through partnerships with local physicians, clinics, and hospitals.

The Round Rock campus, established in 2008, transitioned to a new, modern facility in 2009. This campus in central Texas stands out for providing educational experiences in conjunction with three major hospital systems. Students at this campus benefit from access to over ten hospitals in Williamson and Travis counties, all under the guidance of more than 400 faculty members from the Texas A&M School of Medicine. A team of seasoned clerkship directors oversees the students' clerkships and electives, which include Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, ICU, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Radiology, and Surgery, at various locations throughout central Texas. Additionally, esteemed community physicians with extensive experience act as faculty for clerkships and electives, focusing on clinical Medicine.

Shared with the Texas A&M School of Nursing, this campus provides unparalleled educational experiences for medical students, spanning from their second year to their graduation at the conclusion of the fourth year.
