Advancing Medicine to Serve the Greater Good At the Texas A&M University Naresh K. Vashisht College of Medicine, we advance medicine to lead Texans—and the world—towards a healthier future. Founded in 1977 through the Teague-Cranston Act to serve veterans and the underserved, we’ve grown into a community-based, research-driven academic medical institution that combines world- class education, compassionate care, and translational innovation. Whether in rural clinics, urban hospitals, NASA labs, or classrooms across the state, we equip leaders to solve healthcare’s biggest challenges with purpose, empathy, and the power of the Aggie spirit.
