Camp Information
June 13-14, 2025

School to Scrubs Rural Medicine Camp is the perfect opportunity to explore the medical field firsthand.
Students from rural school districts across Texas are welcomed to the Texas A&M University College of Medicine campus for an immersive experience which allows them to learn directly from the esteemed faculty and students of Texas A&M University College of Medicine.
Students will gain insight through hands-on learning activities and engaging and interactive sessions during this 2-day camp.
Students must be at least 14 years old and registered as 9th-12th-grade students within the district.
Districts must register students and provide a 1:10 chaperone.
Districts provide chaperones & transportation to and from the camp.
There is no cost to the district for the camp, meals, or hotel accommodations during camp.

Process for Registration
School district staff completes the district registration roster. This roster must be emailed to brewer@tamu.edu no later than March 14, 2025.
School district staff distributes & collects completed parent forms from students.
School district staff scans & emails completed parent forms to brewer@tamu.edu. All parent forms must be sent in one email, please do not send multiple emails with forms attached. Please ensure each required form is properly completed before emailing.
Forms are due no later than May 1, 2025.
Students will not be allowed to attend camp without all of the required parent forms completed. Parent signatures are required on all forms even if the student is 18 years old.

Chaperone Expectations
Districts are required to provide a 1:10 chaperone ratio for their students.
All chaperones must complete a child protection course and submit to a background check. Information will be sent via email.
