Match Day 2020

Every March, the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) hosts Match Day, where thousands of graduating medical students across the country find out where they matched into a residency. Not only does this match tell them where they will live for the next few years, but it will also tell them what type of medicine they will practice.

At the Texas A&M College of Medicine, students have the opportunity to match into the most prestigious residencies in various disciplines across the nation. Furthermore, many students head to residencies within the U.S. military branches. Regardless of the discipline and location, the College of Medicine celebrates you and your match.

Dear Class of 2020,

I want to congratulate you all on your match day! You all have achieved so much to get to where you are today, and I am so very proud of you. Whether you get your first choice in a residency program or your last or had to go through SOAP, it really doesn’t matter. What matters is that you all are and will be successful wherever you go and that you will make our Texas A&M College of Medicine proud.
