Research Interests
- Implementation Science: Focusing on translating research evidence into practical clinical applications particularly in primary care using patient-centered strategies and precision medicine to improve health outcomes.
- Convergence Science and Partnered Research: Emphasizing collaborative research to enhance healthcare utilization and patient outcomes within community settings.
- Real-World Medication Performance: Investigating how medications perform outside of clinical trials, particularly the influence of comorbidities on treatment efficacy.
Teaching Interests
- Educational Innovations in Translational Biomedicine: Developing and implementing novel teaching methods to enhance the understanding and application of translational research principles.
- Practical Application of Translational Science: Teaching students how to apply translational science concepts to real-world clinical scenarios, emphasizing the practical skills needed to move research from bench to bedside.
