Keeping Medicine Human
Humanities in Medicine Initiative
The Humanities in Medicine initiative celebrates the deep connections between healthcare, the arts, and the human experience. These featured submissions highlight the exploration and intersection of humanities, arts, ethics, law, leadership, and healing in medicine, offering unique perspectives on what it means to care, to lead, and to heal.
Each submission captures the human side of healthcare—whether through art, writing, performance, or scholarly reflection. Together, they invite us to consider the ethical, professional, and emotional dimensions of medicine and to recognize the compassion and creativity that sustain the practice of healing.
