Mini Medical School

About Mini-Medical School

Want to learn more about medicine and what it's like to be in medical school? Now you can. Our annual Mini Medical School, which runs annually on our Round Rock and Bryan campuses, brings the college's clinical and research faculty into the community to offer current health-related information in a relaxed, educational atmosphere.

Sessions are free and open to the public, and everyone from high school to retired seniors turns out to engage with our researchers in thought-provoking conversation on medical and health care topics of the day.

By attending Mini Medical School sessions, you'll increase your comfort with medical terminology, enhance your scientific knowledge, gain new insights into medical research, and walk away with ideas and tips to apply to your own life.

The Texas A&M School of Medicine's Mini-Medical School does more than educate, it puts you at the forefront of health care. It puts the "ME" in "Medicine." Each session lasts approximately an hour and a half, which includes a presentation by a faculty expert followed by a Q&A session.

Thursday Evenings 6:00 - 7:30 pm
