Affective Neuroscience
Liberzon Lab (Houston)
Dr. Israel Liberzon leads the Liberzon Lab in researching affective neuroimaging. Aims of this lab include examining the link between Pattern Separation (PS)/Pattern Completion (PC) and Context Processing (CP) deficits and symptom severity in PTSD and discovering the role of Glucocorticoid signaling in modulating these functions. Research topics for the Liberzon Lab include neurobehavioral moderators or Post-traumatic Disease trajectories, neural patterns after spinal cord injuries, and computational psychiatry.
