Office of Academic Technology
Mission
The Office of Academic Technology (OAT) exists as a division within Texas A&M Health Science Center, College of Medicine, to support the learning infrastructure and core curriculum by supplying educational and technological support to students, faculty and staff. Our mission is met with a qualified, professional, and dedicated staff committed to the highest standards of excellence in helping everyone meet their needs.
As a department, we meet our mission by continuously striving to improve and stay up-to-date with current teaching and learning modalities and the technology that support them and make them available to the College of Medicine community.
Vision
The vision of the Office of Academic Technology is to see the College of Medicine internationally recognized as a leader in the delivery of our curriculum through the use of cutting edge technologies.
To achieve this vision the Office of Academic Technology researches, evaluates, develops, implements and supports those technologies that will optimize and maximize the strengths of our students, faculty and staff.
