What degrees do you hold and from what institutions?

Hi, I just got my M.S. degree in Medical Sciences from the University of Tsukuba, Japan in 2020. Before that, I received my B.S. degree in Biotechnology from the University of Science at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in 2016.

What excites you about joining Texas A&M School of Medicine for your PhD studies?

From my research, I am excited that Texas A&M is a rising institute in the Texas Medical Center. Also, I found the Ph.D. program here designed to foster creative research related to biology and technology.

If you could meet any scientist throughout history, who would you want to meet and why?

Wow, there have been many great scientists in many fields, and I want to meet as many as possible. If I need to choose one, I would go with Professor Herbert Boyer, a biological researcher who inspires me a lot in the field. Dr. Herbert is a pioneer in genetic engineering and a founder of Genetech biopharmaceutical company. Along with Dr. Stanley Cohen, they invented a new scientific field called recombinant DNA technology. Their discovery has paved the way for the birth of our modern biotechnology.

Tell us something you are passionate about apart from research.

Apart from research, I love beauty, workout, traveling and stylish food. I appreciate little things in life.
