What excites you about joining Texas A&M School of Medicine for your PhD studies?
I'm excited to gain the skills and knowledge to conduct great research, as well as further my academic and professional career at such a great institution.
If you could meet any scientist throughout history, who would you want to meet and why?
I would love to meet Rosalind Franklin because of her great contributions to our understanding of the double helix structure. Her story and her perseverance to overcome the injustices she faced are amazing to me, yet her contributions to science often get overlooked. I would love to talk to her about her tenacity to continue her research.
Tell us something you are passionate about apart from research.
While I have not had the opportunity to do it often, I am very passionate about traveling. I especially love walking around nature.
