The Texas A&M Health Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Care Clinic at Texas A&M School of Medicine offers comprehensive psychiatric services, including diagnostic evaluation and assessment, group and individual psychotherapy, and medication management.
The clinic offers specialized treatment of bipolar disorders, depression disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, psychosis, as well as geriatric and medical-psychiatric conditions. The clinic provides training for psychiatry students, social work post-graduate fellows, psychology graduate students and, in the future, psychiatry residents.
Services
Assessment & Diagnostic – Providers perform psychiatric and mental health assessments to determine appropriate diagnoses and collaborate to create a personalized course of treatment for patients to meet their health goals.
Medication Management – Providers deliver psychopharmacology treatment to address medication indicated conditions. This includes specialty psychopharmacology programs for conditions such as bipolar disorders, depression disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, psychosis, as well as geriatric and medical-psychiatric conditions.
Individual and Group Psychotherapy – One on one, as well as group, therapies are offered to address a range of conditions and are delivered by attending psychiatrists and licensed psychologists/licensed master's level therapists with a variety of specialties.
